In 2023, Tourism Experts International (TEI) assembled a team, that includes Vela Heritage Consulting (VHC) and Destination Stewards International (DSI), to collaborate with the Royal Commission for AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The remarkable heritage area of AlUla stands as a living testament, encompassing meticulously preserved tombs, awe-inspiring sandstone outcrops, storied historic dwellings, and a remarkable array of natural and man-made monuments, collectively holding within their walls a millennium of captivating history. 

AlUla, once a vital crossroads along the famed incense-trading routes, beckoned travelers with its lush oasis, serving as a sanctuary for rest. It was also the capital of the ancient kingdoms of Dadan and Lihyan and is the site of Hegra, a city of the Nabtataean kingdom famous for its spectacular monumental tombs. Today, Hegra proudly stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting visitors from all over the world who want to immerse themselves in its rich history and witness more than a hundred ancient tombs, breathtaking burial chambers, and exquisite inscriptions.

Guided by the capable leadership of Jennifer Wesselhoff, the team - TEI, VHC, DSI - diligently assists AlUla's guardians, leaders, and storytellers. Their collective endeavor is to elevate the visitor experience, weaving a tapestry of wonder that seamlessly interlaces AlUla's profound cultural legacy with the global narrative.
